  23. I'm about to embark on a fairly big AMOS project.  It's intended as an 
  24. adaptable Quiz program.  I'd like to have options for picture and audio 
  25. clues.  I'd also like split screens, copperlists, and if feasible, 
  26. Intuition screens, requesters, etc.  There might be some small animations 
  27. in it (anybody got a good digitized anim of the Earth rotating?).  And 
  28. I'd obviously want to do as little work as possible, which implies the 
  29. need for a later version of AMOS and compiler.  Ahh, but the BUGS...
  30.  
  31. SO, which version of AMOS has the best combination of features, with the 
  32. fewest bugs?  I get the impression from reading this list that newer 
  33. doesn't always mean "fewer bugs".  I'm also assuming you'll all suggest 
  34. AMOS-PRO as a starting point?

  36. Which extensions should I explore?  (I've never used one before, aside 
  37. from what's built-into AMOS).  BTW, I don't expect to do any floating 
  38. point math.  I do plan on samples and using some speech synthesis.

  40. With all that said, what rev. of AMOS/Amos-Pro would you suggest?  Which 
  41. libs, extensions, etc?
